‘Wonderful’ – Pundit wowed as Dharmesh Sheth shares transfer update at West Ham

Frank McAvennie, a former striker for West Ham United, is a welcome addition to our exclusive writer lineup. He will provide his opinions on the most talked-about topics at the London Stadium every week.

Jota is a target for West Ham United, and Frank McAvennie thinks he’s a “wonderful talent,” thus David Moyes needs to move quickly to sign him.

In an interview with GiveMeSport on January 19, Sky Sports news reporter Dharmesh Sheth said that the Hammers are monitoring the “extraordinary” circumstances surrounding the Al Ittihad forward during the January transfer window.

The Hammers are debating whether to make a move for Jota this month since his current ÂŁ200,000-per-week salary at the Saudi Arabian team is proving to be “problematic.”

McAvennie stated to West Ham Zone, “Yeah, I like him.” He’s a very talented player.

“I believe he could excite the crowd and eject haters from the London Stadium.” In addition to being a skilled player, he also puts in a ton of work, at least from what I observed of him at Celtic.

“He’s a great player, but everyone calls him George Michael and all that because of his appearance. David Moyes needs an attacker who chases the ball back when he loses it.

“I wouldn’t mind seeing him come; he scores goals and gives opposition defenders fits, but he hasn’t played at the highest level in a while.

“But West Ham would get a wonderful talent if he regains the form he showed at Celtic, as players like Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals don’t seem to be hanging around and he can play there all day.”

“I think Moyes needs to move quickly to acquire the player who left Celtic if we’re going to get him.”

The position of a different Premier League player who has been connected to West Ham has been made public.
