After three and a half years at Ibrox, Campbell—who won the Scottish Youth Cup and the under-18 league title at Rangers—announced his departure on social media.

According to The Scottish Sun, Campbell will join RB Leipzig following his productive tenure at Rangers.

“Happy to have spent 3.5 years @RFC_Youth working with some amazing people on & off the pitch,” stated a post on X, the previous Twitter platform.

“From witnessing academy boys play for @RangersFC and establishing careers in the game to winning the U18 League & Scottish Youth Cup, it was an amazing opportunity that I never took for granted.

“Overwhelmed by the messages I’ve received from players, parents and staff which have all been greatly appreciated.”

An interpretive “Aufgeregt fĂĽr das, was als nächstes kommt” concluded Campbell’s message, hinting at a potential move to Germany. It literally translated to “Excited for what’s next.”

In response to the article, former Rangers coach Graeme Murty said, “Good luck, Cam. Looking forward to the research visit.”

Mark Spalding, a former employee of the Ibrox academy system, said: “I love this! I wish you luck, it was a joy.
