Bayern Munich recently made a £13 million bid to sign the “explosive” player that Liverpool wants.

Liverpool may lose out on a long-term transfer objective as Bayern Munich has formally submitted an offer for Assan Ouédraogo, a promising midfield player.

Liverpool has had Ouédraogo on their list for a while now. Reports from October stated that the Reds had contacted the Schalke young player and were interested in making a transfer.

However, things have gone a bit quieter since and it now looks like Ouédraogo could be on his way to Bayern instead.

Florian Plettenberg, a journalist for Sky Sports Germany, claims that Bayern has now made an official proposal for the young player.

As one of Germany’s most sought-after young players, Ouédraogo is still only a teenager, and it appears Munich is finally making a move.

Plettenberg posted on social media that the German powerhouses have made an offer of about £13 million for the young player, with the intention of signing him to a deal that would last until 2029.

Liverpool miss out on a gem

Liverpool has recently performed well in the market, but it appears like they may have missed the mark on this one.

They’ve had success recruiting, as evidenced by the recent addition of Ben Doak and other talented young players.

Sadly, it appears that Bayern is going to make a move on Ouédraogo, therefore the Reds will not be getting him.

It’s often difficult for young players in the Bundesliga to refuse such advances. It would be difficult to turn Bayern down.

Liverpool should be disappointed. Ouédraogo has been hailed as a “explosive” midfield player, thus as he advances in his career, many eyes will be on him.

In fact, if he keeps improving and succeeds for Bayern, don’t be shocked if his name comes up during upcoming transfer windows.
