Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt putting in extra work ahead of Rückrunde

Matthijs de Ligt, a center-back for Bayern Munich, was injured during the Hinrunde and missed 11 games. Fortunately, he was able to make a comeback on the day of Bayern’s last Bundesliga game in 2023. Thomas Tuchel will be depending on de Ligt to get back into the starting lineup right away because Kim Min-jae is anticipated to be out of the lineup for the majority of January due to the AFC Asian Cup.

Victor Catalina stated that De Ligt is working harder on the team’s rest day in preparation for the need to play 90 minutes, which he has only completed twice for Bayern this fall.
