‘I will prepare well and play well’ – Heung-min Son sends warning to Man City

Tottenham will put their recent struggles behind them and concentrate on beating Manchester City, according to Son Heung-min.

Spurs have lost three straight games in the Premier League after having a fantastic start to the year.

Ange Postecoglou will likely argue that his team’s injury crisis is a significant mitigating factor and that at least two of those results—Chelsea and Aston Villa—were not accurate representations of the game.

However, if this bad run of play persists for too long, there is now a genuine concern that the squad’s confidence may be destroyed.

Shin-min Son is prepared for the Man City match.
Unfortunately, the Lilywhites’ toughest match of the year is about to begin, as they travel to the Etihad Stadium.

Even though Tottenham has defeated Man City on a few occasions recently, a fourth straight loss could prove to be a serious blow to Postecoglou’s efforts to rebuild North London.

Son, though, is sure that he and his teammates can defeat Pep Guardiola’s team and win a positive outcome.

The Tottenham captain responded to the question, “It’s not that I was strong,” when it was brought up that he had a strong record against City. Overall, the team is much more prepared.

“I believe it’s because Manchester City obviously wants to win more than anyone else. Man City is a top-tier squad. Since it is a team that is nearly impossible to support in any way.

They are the world’s best soccer team, in certain aspects. They won the triple crown the previous season for a reason. This coming week, I believe we should put in more preparation. I believe that because these are games where one mistake is not acceptable, I need to prepare myself extremely well, both mentally and physically.

I will prepare well and play well because I know this will be a challenging game in which I will depend more on my teammates than anyone else.

“I think we showed many fans unexpected outcomes and unexpected aspects by recording three straight losses, and the players also have a lot of responsibility in this regard.”

“We will prepare well for the weekend game so that we can have a good game because the players also want to do better and are trying to provide more enjoyment.”

Given their recent slump, the one thing that might help Spurs is that they are not anticipated to win at the Etihad. They will therefore be free to play and concentrate on hurting City, something they know they are capable of doing.
